Working Together for the Youth of Kootenai Country!
The mission of Kid Centric Sports Association is to provide opportunities in sports and healthy activities for youth of all ages and abilities with a focus on underserved youth in North Idaho.
History Goals and Purpose
KCSA was formed in 2009 by four dedicated volunteer parents wanting to help support more youth with funding and opportunities for healthy activities. In the early years, fundraising events were held so youth at a local gym could participate in competitions. They were able to sponsor youth in the Western National Championships, the USGA Championships and help support the Great West Gym Fest held in Coeur d’Alene, ID and in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Today the Scholarship Program has expanded to reach other youth and additional youth groups.
KCSA has provided scholarships and support to foster youth, children of veterans and underserved youth that would otherwise not be able to afford many sports activities. The purpose and goal of KCSA is for youth to be able to develop their fine and gross motor skills as they grow and develop to their full potential.
